Gliese581G is an earth like planet discovered by Stephen Hawking and 3 other scientist in 2007. Its 7 times bigger than earth, and its sun is smaller and redder than ours. Also known as a red dwarf. At this time there is no know way to get there, because it is more than 20 light years away. If we were to ride on Voyager1, the fastest man mad object travelling at 11 miles per second, it would still take us more than 350,000 years. The great discovery about it is that it lays just far enough away from its sun that it can hold water. If we could travel there it would become and home away from home. or an earth away from earth. It spins slower than earth so 1 day on Gliese581G would be around 2-3 Earth Day and 1 1/2-2 earth years.
