PR stands for page rank system Google use to decide of website quality. As long as you have high page rank it means you have a quality website.
The system defines ranks from 1-10 and you can find leading sites with PR8-9 and lower site with pr3.
PR ranking is the most secret system of Google and many are trying to manipulate the system. Some say it's related to your content, inbound links etc.
