Jamaica's weather is one of the warmest in the Caribbean year round.

It has an average high temperature of about 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter to more than 90 degrees in the summer, according to the World Weather Organization.

Average low temperatures, mainly at night, range from the low 70s in the winter to the high 70s in the summer.

Rain is moderate during the winter. The island has a brief wet season in May. But rain starts to climb in the later summer during the Caribbean hurricane season and reaches a peak of nearly five inches in September and seven inches in October.
