There are various answers depending on the particular view that a person takes on this.

Answer 1: Replacement of the Old Covenant

According to The Bible, Jesus hadn't been born, so nothing, besides he was God's son, and God delivered the laws to Moses. However, Jesus gave a new set of laws to go with the old ones. These were the Beatitudes, and they were like a guide to get into Heaven.

Answer 2: Sacrifice in Fulfillment of the Law

The Mosaic law required a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin. God's people (Israel) could come to God - have a relationship with God - through the sacrificial system.

Israel was to be a light among the nations to show other nations God's ways. But they failed to maintain a right relationship with God and strayed and worshiped other gods.

God has now made it possible for anybody who believes Jesus is the son of God and he died, as the 'lamb' of God, a sacrifice for sin:

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

As the lamb of God Jesus fulfills the Mosaic law and Jesus' death seals a new covenant, a new agreement between God and "whoever believes".

Heb 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.

Heb 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Answer 3: Repudiation of the Law

According to Judaism, Jesus' activities have no connection to the Mosaic Law. He often explicitly violated or mocked the practices of the Divine Covenant and asserted his own righteousness. There is no verse in Old Testament Law that requests a human sacrifice as a sin-offering, there is no belief that the Messiah would be partially or completely divine, and there is no verse in Old Testament that allows people to abrogate the Law and merely enter "the good place" after death on belief alone. In fact, all of these violate key suppositions in the Old Testament, such as the prohibition on human sacrifices, the prohibition of expiation from someone else, the discussion of the Messiah as a human, the virtue that God does not reproduce and there is only a single God, not a unity of different aspects, and that the law is binding eternally.

Why do Seventh-day Adventists not recognize the Mosaic Law?

In the Bible, it says that when Jesus died, the law died with Him...now most people believe that this was the 10 commandments but in fact it was the law of Moses that died with Jesus.....to explain, Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. Moses' law was one that had people sacrificing animals to cleanse themselves from sin, but God sent Jesus to die for our sins so we no longer need Moses' law.

What are the components of Mosaic law?

After the Exodus, when the Israelites left Egypt, the Lord gave Moses the Ten Commandments and numerous other laws (Exodus 19-40). This entire system of laws, called the Mosaic Law or simply the Law, provided the framework for the Israelite's relationships with God, with one another, and with the nations around them. The Mosaic Law is the central theme of the Books of Moses, or Torah. Christian teaching, particularly as developed by the Apostle Paul, shows that we can never keep the Law to God's satisfaction. Instead of the sacrifices required under the Mosaic Law, Jesus' death serves as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins once and for all.
