∙ 13y agoJudea was the Roman name for the ancient kingdom of Judah, but under Herodian and Roman rule included various other territories, for administrative convenience. The kingdom of Judah more or less forms the southern part of the Palestinian territory of the West Bank. Some Israelis refer to the West Bank as "Judah and Samaria (Israel)".
