Not every Tennessee state site claims there is a state dog. I did find a site that claims the Blue Tick Coonhound is Tennesse's State Dog. Which would make sense since the University of Tennessee's mascot is a Blue Tick Coonhound called Smokey. Here's the link... http://www.puppyfind.com/breed/?breed_id=155 . This breed is dear to my heart since I have a BT Coonhound puppy name Daisy :)
Kentucky does not have a state dog. See the related link for more information on state dogs (and cats).
