This description has been embellished even further and the instrument of death is often referred to as a "Red Hot Poker".

∙ 13y agoKing Edward is probably best remembered as a man who was imprisoned and possibly murdered by his wife and her alleged lover. We do not have reliable histories on this, of course, so we do not know exactly what happened, but the stories and speculation are gruesome.
