What is Madagascar's main animals?

In Madagascar the primary vertebrates are prosimians (lemurs) and chameleons (lizards that can change color). Because Madagascar is located far out in the middle of the ocean, there are few mammals, and most of their native species are not found on any continent (unless they were introduced by humans). This is because there is virtually no Immigration between Madagascar and any other land mass.
