Assuming you're referring to the Mother of Jesus:

According to Roman Catholicism, Mary's role(s) among the saints are: Queen, Mother, Mediatrix.

She is considered Queen for primarily three reasons. 1) She is the 'greatest' of the saints. 2) She is the Mother of Christ who is the Messianic King. 3) She is the Mother of all those who will reign with Christ (Rev 20:4), In a certain sense, she can be considered a "Queen-Mother", since her Queenship derives from her Motherhood.

In addition she is considered the Mother of the saints for primarily two reasons 1) She is the Mother of Christ (and therefore the Mother of all who have put on Christ(see Galatians 3 for a parallel example) 2) She is Mediatrix (see below)

Mary is Mediatrix, because she is our Mother. All graces, such as the grace needed to be born again in Holy Baptism, to the graces we need to grow in Christian maturity, to the grace of a 'happy death'. passes through Mary.

Note: Mary as Queen, Mother, and Mediatrix all intersect. It's difficult to define one without referring to the others. Mary is also regarded as free from sin, and a perpetual virgin.
