What is the difference between the Islam religion and Muruwah?
There is no difference. Islam is based on Muruwah; persistence,
bravery, generosity, kindness, loyalty, integrity and fidelty are
all at the heart of Islam. You should persist in your faith, even
when doubters mock you. Be brave and stand up for the weak and
vulnerable against the cruel and merciless. Share what you have and
show kindness to all because you could be walking in that man's
shoes next and he might be the one to help you. Loyalty, integrity
and fidelty ensure that you are true not only to yourself but also
to all around you, and most importantly, to God.
You don't need to be Muslim to embody the ideal of Muruwah into
your life, your home and your community (family and friends).
Muruwah came from the Bedouin tribes that brought the Prophet up -
they weren't religious peoples and didn't believe in monotheism.
Its about living your life in order to make the most of
yourself.
