When it comes to the barefoot running experience, Nike's Free Run's tend to have the highest review ratings. If you know you're going to use them, I would recommend the Nike Free Run 3, as opposed to NFR 2. However, they are quite expensive considering how less material is in them.

http://reviews.nike.com/9191/510643/nike-free-run-3-womens-running-shoe-reviews/reviews.htm The above is a great review that answers your question with a yes. I can second this opinion with a first hand experience - the Nike Free 3.0 is one of my favorite shoes and will be with me for awhile.
Free runs because the air max are too heavy and bulky plus they can pop for running free runs is the way to go
The shoe got generally good reviews on the Nike web site (4.5 stars out of 5). The reviews say that they are supportive and lightweight, and also comfortable.
You can purchase them pretty much anywhere that sells Nike shoes. I would try Foot Locker and Dick's Sporting Goods as they have a wide variety of shoes to choose from and are likely to carry that.
The Nike Free 3 V1 is available on the Nike home page. You can navigate the specifications of the shoe and even see a sample. It is really neat and informative.
unfortunately... it's not. but if you insist, you can try to stick it using velcroor some tape, since the nikesensor using accelerometer system, putting in not flat surface, will miscalculate the sensor. if you haven't buy one, I suggest find nikefree with "+" for instance nikefree run+3 or nikefree run+5, etc.hope this helps, cheers.
Nike's website gives reviews by consumers on their site. According to reviews.nike.com/9191/354574/nike-free-3...v2-mens.../reviews.htm they have a 4.4 rating from about 150 people. Based on those reviews I would say they are a good shoe.
With all the different colors of Nike Free 3, you certainly have many choices. If you're trying to psych-out your competitors, then red is always a great choice. Still, you might not want to limit yourself to one color when there's such a rainbow to choose from.
