Basically the Porsche Konstruktionen was the workshop Ferry Porsche and Louise Porsche set up after the second world war, because they were scared the occupied forces in Carinthia would (which was where Porsche design company moved during the second world war, and after the war repaired former military vehicules) seize their fathers life work, Ferry and His sister Louise (who, since 1928, was married to the lawyer: Dr. Anton Piëch, since 1928) decided to establish the Austrian Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH in Gmünd, Carinthia (They established the Konstruktionen on April 1, 1947) and became general managers.
Shortly after opening they were hired, along with a few other designers, by the Italian Tycoon Piero Dusio (who's soccer career ended after a knee injury, so he went on to race cars) to create a four wheel drive formula 1 racing car called the "Cisitalia" or "Porsche 360" (but, unfortunatley due to lack of funds, never actually took part in a race). Louise and Ferry used the proceeds from the "Cisitalia" to release their father on bail, from internment (basically in prison) in France.
