The legend is that he was one the floor playing with his grandchildren when he learned that President Harrison had died and he had become President.
Benjamin Harrison, 23rd president. term was 1889 to 1893. this was well after the slave/abolition period (1820s/1830s-1861), Civil war (1861-65) and Reconstruction (1865-1877). Why ask? Anyways, Harrison did next to nothing when it came to slavery since it was no longer an issue during his term. He tried (unsuccessfully), however, to aid freed slaves' children in education as a senator (of indiana). he believed that doing so would help them become more socially and economically equal with whites.
he was remembered for the peace he made and he never gave up.
He will be remembered for finding out E=MC squared and for doing his cousin and having kids :D

William Henry Harrison, the 9th President of the US. Because he was President for just only 1 Month. 1841, March 4th - April 4th. That's because he was doing a 2 hour speech on a cold snowy day when it was snowing at of the Capital Hill in Washington D.C.! And somehow, William Henry Harrison caught a cold and the cold turned into pharmonia. And later at the White House, William Henry Harrison Died. That's sad! And after he died, Vice-President John Tyler took his place, and became the 10th President of the US.
I thought I recognized Corey Harrison's voice doing the Medicare commercial on TV
doing sex with Benjamin Franklin.
Ben Franklin would be doing ........................................................ work.
In my eyes he would do a much better job then the president is doing and has been doing.
He was a great military leader who won the respect of the Crusaders (and considering how bigoted they were, that must have taken some doing) - at least that's why he's remembered in the West.
Rogerfelt the unease of hiswrong-doing. He remembered how he got punished back home for doing the same thing.
