Ram is random acsess memory it help load random thing faster i might be wrong so dont rely on my answer
makes your computer faster
Buy more RAM. Go to your nearest computer retailer and ask them about it. They can help you purchase the right RAM drive for you.
Video cards have their own memory. Adding RAM to the machine will help graphics performance, but not as much as a card with more on-board memory.
Depends. If you have only 1GB RAM, the game will lag. If you have a lower end graphics card, it will hardly run or wont run at all. A better graphics card is best but more RAM will help.
You may be able to add more RAM if you have 1 or more empty expansion slots.
RAM speed is how fast your computer goes. The more RAM, the faster your computer.
no graphics cards have there own built in video ram The above answer is only partially correct. If a computer had onboard graphics, where there is no dedicated graphics card, then the graphics chip is on the motherboard itself. In this case, it will use the system RAM for memory. This can reduce the total amount available to the system. So if you have onboard graphics (no dedicated graphics card), then a dedicated GPU(graphics processing unit) could in fact increase available RAM. However, the difference is not likely to be large. RAM is cheap. Your best option is to buy more RAM for your system.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to download RAM.
I currently have a pretty bad processor (Intel Pentium 2020M) and 4GB of RAM. I don't do anything too crazy with my laptop but files would stop responding and certain things would take forever to load. So would buying an addition 8GB RAM (adding to the 4GB I already have, 12GB in total) help? If so, by how much. I prefer buying an 8 GB RAM compared to a 4GB as I can probably use the 8GB when I get a new Laptop in the future.
Random access memory, or RAM, is important if you are going to have a lot of different computer programs running at the same time. Also, some programs require more RAM than others, so depending on what you will use your computer for, you might need more RAM. DDR2 RAM is only compatible with motherboards that are equipped to handle DDR2 RAM. Before adding any DDR2 RAM to your computer, make sure that your motherboard will work with it. Some computer motherboards are compatible with only DDR or DDR3 RAM, which would make your DDR2 RAM worthless and possibly damaging.
There are both the same thing, ddr2 ram, is faster that ddr1 ram but ddr3 ram is more modern and faster
Generally speaking, 4GB RAM will be plenty, but usually, the more RAM you have, the faster your computer will boot, run programs, run games, etc. Though for games, it depends on both RAM and your video card.
Add more RAM?...?
