San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. This is hundreds of years old and 10-15% of its population are made up of American and Canadian retiree's. The town has many art galleries and a beautiful downtown area with churches made hundreds of years ago. The town is extremely colorful with teal doors and yellow houses. There are great activities for children such as day camps based on learning the Spanish language, and Mexican Culture ( http://www.centrobilingue.com/index.php ). This town is truly worth your visit, many who visit end up buying one of San Miguel's beautiful homes, and staying!
