Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) in engineering is a method of manufacturing in which the entire production process is controlled by computer. The traditional separated process methods are joined through a computer by CIM. This integration allows that the processes exchange information with each other and they are able to initiate actions. Through this, integration the manufacturing can be faster and with fewer errors, although the main advantage is the ability to create automated manufacturing processes. Typically CIM relies on closed-loop control processes, based on real-time input from sensors. It is also known as flexible design and manufacturing. It includes CAD/CAM, computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing, CAPP, computer-aided process planning, CNC, computer numerical control machine tools, DNC, direct numerical control machine tools, FMS, flexible machining systems, ASRS, automated storage and retrieval systems, AGV, automated guided vehicles, use of robotics and automated conveyance, computerized scheduling and production control, and a business system integrated by a common data base. Therefore the scope for such complicated technology in today's time is tremendous. Hope this helps. All the best!
Discrete is something that is not continuous, or in other words. Not doing it continuous.
Billions of microscopic transistors integrated onto individual chips of Silicon. And one computer may have a few hundred of these chips doing different things. Vacuum tube computers, even the largest, rarely had more than 10,000 tubes.
run, the computer is doing calculations normally (maximum power consumption)sleep, the computer is not doing calculations but maintains DRAM refresh to retain data internally (low power consumption)hibernate, the computer is not doing calculation but saved DRAM to a disk file so that DRAM refresh can also be stopped (minimal power consumption, often the computer actually turns off in this mode)
Enrollment systems tend to be too complex. When students try to use them they may not complete the process because they don't understand what they are doing.
Yes, it only affects your computer. Once you refresh or leave the page, it goes back to normal. If someone else views the page with their computer, they will not be able to see what you are doing.
what is scope of economics honours..?? n what can i do after doing it..?
nothing
in software houses,IT companies and often many fields
no scope unless u have some canadian degree.

The Indian manufacturing sector is not doing well because of the mismanagement and the import of the goods from the other countries which are cheaper.

No. The data needs to be interpreted and processed in order to be displayed, something that the monitor, itself, cannot do at present. If it could, there would be no need for a computer because the components of the computer would be integrated in the monitor. Is the camera capable of doing so? Yes and no. The cameras of today are equipped with the basics for displaying images directly on their own integrated screens. However, as of yet, no tech is on the market to allow for plugging in a monitor to a cam. There are, however, some printers that can interpret and process directly from the cam, bypassing the computer. Fun fact. :D

The scope of GAO's work today includes virtually everything the federal government is doing and thinking about doing anywhere in the world. GAO has become a modern, multidiscipline professional services organization.

It has improves grealy, from people manufacturing to machines doing everything now.
