A military courts martial is a legal proceding that is conducted under the rules and regulations of the military. There is a judge, jury and attorneys involved. In some cases these are very informal, as in the case of a Special Courts Martial, in which an officer, 0-3 or above, conducts the entire proceeding and serves as the judge, defense and presecution with no jury.
