C. Choking
Quickly check the pulse in her throat. If there is no pulse, then suspect a heart attack rather than choking. If she has a pulse, get help sitting the victim up and perform the Heimlich maneuver, 4 sharp pulls in a row. Repeat if nothing comes out.
you don't give CPR to someone who is choking. that is called the heimlich manuver where you stand behind them and pull your fist and hand into stomach to force out object. CPR is used when there are heart prolems (ie. heart attack, cardiac arrest, carteroid failing)
No, most of the time when CPR is required the person is unconscious and therefore is unable to give CPR to themselves. A person can give themselves a modified version of the Heimlich maneuver though.
choking agent
First, cehck the mouth and see if you can remove the debris manually. If that doesnt work... If you feel there's danger to the fetus if you perform the Heimlich manuver, you can perform CPR style chest compressions. Note that this procedure is controversial. While chest compressions can actually cause greater outbound pressure than abdominal compressions, compressing the chest can damage ribs and the xyphoid process and, in some cases, cause cardiac arrythmias. As first aid requires that we do no harm, this one is a tough call.
Envelopment
The Valsalva maneuver should not be performed by patients who have severe coronary artery disease, have experienced recent heart attack, or have a moderate to severe reduction in blood volume.
heart attack
If the pigeons are flying, the imminent predator are the hawks. They make a roll to avoid a hawk attack. The whole flock does the maneuver at once.
Vomiting will not necessarily relieve the pain caused by a heart attack. The best thing to do if you suspect of having a heart attack is to take an aspirin and call emergency services (911 in USA, 999 in the UK).
Choking agents are also called Pulmonary agens. They attack the lungs, specificly they cause the lungs to produce fluid buildup and eventualy suffocation as the victim literally drowns in their own fluids. Many of the nastier agests will also affect exposed skin and the eyes, causing severe burns and blurred vision &/or partial blindness
