The Initiates Program (TIP) is a program on Answers.com with the aim of preparing contributors for a supervisory role on the site. Contributors are trained in splitting alternates, recategorizing, removing flags from questions, editing questions, editing answers and answering questions.

In order to become a member of TIP you must first answer 20 questions with well-researched, high-quality and unique answers.

Yes. TIP members are not invincible or above the rules an any way and they are treated exactly the same as any non-TIP member. Constant violation of the rules will eventually lead in termination from the program and a block from accessing the website.
