I am currently running on vista, and it works fine for me, it just depends on how many programs you have running at the same time as well as runescape, if you haven't many programs running you should be ok. ---------------------- I tend yo use low detail, because high detail for me tends to run a bit too slow, and I'm currently on 2gb RAM.

No. Linux does not natively support running Windows programs. When Linux is run on a typical desktop computer, it is possible to run about 80% of Windows programs using a compatibility layer known as "Wine." PS3 systems have totally different processors from PCs. Wine does not emulate a processor, only function calls, so it cannot be used to run Windows programs, including games, on a PS3. However, many Linux games that one could play on a desktop can also be played on the PS3.
No. If you don't want Windows, then don't install it.
To use Remote Desktop, the computer you want to remotely acess (the server) must be running Vista Business or Ultimate editions or Windows XP Professional, but the computer you're using to access it (the client) can be running any version of Windows.
When I saw your question - I ran a diagnostic on my laptop to see how much I was using... I have a total of 3GB available, and Windows 7 (Home premium) uses about 1.2GB with nothing running - so I wouldn't worry about it !
They're not - They are individual programs running under Windows operating system.
