The Earth's inner core is made of solid iron and nickel, like the outer core, though the outer core has MOLTEN iron and nickel for its contents.
There is no layer of Earth that is predominantly molten rock. The only layer of Earth that is liquid is the outer core, however this is mainly iron and nickel. The mantle, the thickest layer of the Earth, contains rock that is "ductile" (i.e. very viscous and able to flow very slowly), but not technically "liquid."

The center of that core is solid, but there is a layer a thousand miles or more think that is liquid. Above the core is mantle material that is not necessarily considered liquid, because it is so viscous. Earth has an outer solid crust.
