Several of the multiple-birth-raised-apart (MBRA) brothers from the Pacific were young contractors in communications and software development. One became a Gannett newspaper carrier contractor and learned about the confidential projects at the time and got a subcontract to help with the communications. He had already gotten a sub-contract in the early stages of what is now the internet when there were four universities involved in developing the networking principles that form the basis of what is now a global communications system.
