The tallest building in Montevideo (Uruguay's capital city) is "Palacio Salvo" in the neighborhood called "Ciudad Vieja", mostly a residential building. It's an old building very well-known by Uruguayans.
However, currently it's also the very modern Montevideo's "World Trade Center", three tall buildings used only for business offices in the neighborhood called "Pocitos". There's no skyscrappers in Montevideo but there are tall buildings.
