All coins from the British Empire have that motto. Please post a new question with your coin's denomination and the country, if it's given. If the coin does not show a country name it's from the U.K.
Another name for this coin is the Great Britain Half Shilling. The value varies from four dollar for a worn coin to thirty dollars for a fully uncirculated coin.
This question doesn't include a denomination for the coin, and as such doesn't have enough information for an answer.
King George V wasn't on any coins until 1911.
I have one. You tell me.
George V coins were issued from 1911 to 1936 inclusive.
Other than for very minor differences, all British Halfpennies minted from 1911 to 1925 should be almost identical. See the link below.
1911 with no mint mark in good condition is worth $.20, uncirculated is worth $30.00, proof is worth $275.00.
A 1911 wheat back penny range's any where from 55 cents to 55 dollars. A perfect wheat back penny will get you 55 dollars.
If it has both George V and the year 1900, it is a very poor fake. George V did not appear on British coins until 1911.
A gold penny from 1918 with the inscription "georgivs v d g Britt om rex f d ind imp" in very fine condition could be worth around $50 to $100, depending on its exact condition and market demand for such a rare piece. It's recommended to have the coin professionally authenticated and appraised for an accurate valuation.
Quite aside from the fact that all 1911 British and British Empire Pennies feature George V and have GEORGIVS V inscribed on the coin, if the head is facing towards the left then it is George V. If the head is facing to the right it is Edward VII.
Most 1911 Lincoln cents that are in the average circulated grades (G-4 to F-12) are 25 cents to $1.25.
Every British or British Empire/Commonwealth coin issued from 1911 to 1936 will have that inscription, or something very similar. GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D.IND:IMP: tells me who the King was, using abbreviated Latin for his extensive titles, but nothing about the coin. If there is no country name on it, it is most likely British. What is the denomination, what metal is it made from, what is the design on the reverse, what is the diameter?the desighn on rev,is a crown at top undernieth is a 3 with date1913 and a wreath around perimiter.the metal i think is silver.
