Depending on grade they can run from $20-$100 or more. All error coins need to be seen for an accurate value.

"S over D" refers to the mintmark. During that period (and indeed, at most times prior to the last few decades), dies were centrally produced and marked with a mintmark ("S" for San Francisco", "D" for Denver) before being sent off to their respective mints. Ocassionally, a die destined for San Francisco would first be marked with a "D" in error, and then corrected by being overstruck with an "S". Unless the "S" completely obliterated all evidence of the "D" (and it often didn't), you'd end up with an "S over D" mintmark. As to the value of such a coin, I can't speak to a specific range other than to note that, as with any collectible coin, value generally moves up with condition.
Depending on condition they can run from $50-150.

Errors that can be found on a wheat penny are doubled-die obverse, S over D, D over S and for 1922 pennies no D or a weak D. In 1922 pennies were only minted in Denver all other years they were minted in Philly(no mint mark) and Denver (D) along with San Fran(S) in select years.

The 1946-S Lincoln cent is common, average retail value for most coins is 10 to 25 cents.

On a Lincoln penny, the mint mark ("S" for San Francisco, "D" for Denver) would be located just below the date.

Not that valuable. Probably 10 to 20 cents, depending on its condition, except for the extremely rare 1944 D/S (where an S was stamped over the D), which could be worth $70 to $150.
Wheat Penny's from the 1950's are very common. Average values are 3 to 10 cents.
A "D" means that the penny was minted in Denver An "S" means that the penny was minted in San Francisco (note - only proof cents are now minted there) A penny without a mint mark was minted in Philadelphia
Assuming you mean Wheat penny's, the 1909-S V.D.B., 1914-D & 1931-S are the icons of the series.
