On Just Answers says that a 1954 is worth 50.00 to 75.00 depending on condition of the dictionary. But I see on ebay people are selling them for 31.00 to 49.99 without a sale yet. So it looks like demand for this type of antique may not be high. I have one (1957) and I think I may give it to someone who homeschools.

The value of a 1957 Webster's Encyclopedic dictionary can vary depending on its condition, rarity, and demand among collectors. Generally, they can be worth anywhere from $10 to $50. It is recommended to check online auction sites and antique bookstores to get a more accurate estimate of its value.
