Well it's a model 76, not made in 1976 but from 1962-1964 (maybe 1965). They made less then 30,000 of them so there's not a lot but it's really not a big collector base for it either. In excellent condition (like new) you might get 600-700 for it.

Yes, I have one that is Black on Black. They also made a bolt action, but not many of either. It's a Model 76.
Remington didn't make a model 55 rifle, nylon or otherwise. Autoloader, lever, or Bolt, Clip or Tub, letters on left side of barrel?
value of your Remington nylon 11 is from $500-700, there is one for sale on guns America now listed for $660.
Is this the copy of the Remington Nylon 66? I have a CBC clone of one. Go to www.nylonrifles.com and there you can get all the help you need.
Yes, Remington made a "Apache" model of the Nylon 66 .22 caliber rifle. It had a black nylon stock with a chrome plated barrel & receiver. It was a very nice looking rifle.
Any brand of firearms cleaning solvent will do the job.

Purple wasn't a Remington color.
it looks like in the blue book that the mod.# is nylon 66
Answer I've never even seen a bolt action version of the Remington Nylon 22's. So, I won't guess this one. Try eBay. There is a guy selling copies of the Original Manual for this gun. Reference: eBay Item number: 140197267991 (bidding ends Jan 16)
