For modern error coins, they need to be seen for a evaluation, the type and condition of the error determines value. If it's slightly off center with none of the design missing the value may not be much. But if 20% to 60% of the design is missing value could be around $10.00. The best thing to do is show it to a couple of dealers or take it to a coin show.
It's 95% copper, and weighs 3.11 grams.
The face value of a US "penny" is one cent. There's no US coin officially called a penny, but the term has survived since Colonial times for the smallest unit of coinage as a holdover from the British coinage system. An individual cent may be worth more than that by virtue or rarity and condition (a 1909SVDB, for example, may be worth several thousand dollars) or by metal content (pre-1981 small cents contain perhaps 1.5 cents worth of copper - it varies daily depending on fluctuations in the copper market - and large cents produced prior to the middle of the 19th century contain several cents worth of copper).Several other countries issued or still issue coins that are officially called pennies, including Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Great Britain. The first 3 have since switched to decimal coinage using cents, while Britain has had two types of coins called pennies. An old British penny had a face value of 1/240 of a pound prior to its demonetization in 1971. Current British pennies have a face value of 1/100 of a decimal pound.
Average current value for an 1981 proof set is about $8.00. The 1982 proof set is the year that is known for the dime to be missing the mintmark.

Any coin with a "genuine" minting flaw would have some value, above the usual, as a collectible coin. Genuinely flawed coins are not necessarily known about or documented until somebody turns up with one, since they are an "accident" of the minting process, and have escaped detection during quality control at the mint therefore, a valuation cannot be anticipated. A reputable coin dealer should be able to identify and confirm the coin as genuine and make a valuation.
The last Australian Penny was minted in 1964.
it is just either an error in the mintage of the coin or is just an ordinary coin with no d which means it is worth about twenty cents.
First you must make sure it's not just copper plated -- which is worthless. If you truly have an unfinished planchet error, these have been selling in the $20 to $50 range.
D is the mint mark for Denver. Anything minted 1959-1981 is worth 2 cents for its copper content.
