Half dollars dated 1964 and earlier are 90% silver and are worth about $11 in silver content. Keep in mind that proof, error, and key date coins may be worth much more than pure silver content. And from 1965-1970 the half dollar was 40% silver and is worth about $4.50 in silver content. Half dollars dated 1971 and later are not silver unless found in a US mint silver proof set. Note that any half dollar made during 1965-69 is only partially silver and is worth about $3. Halves dated 1971 and later contain NO silver and are only worth 50 cents.
1964 halves are 90% silver. As of 05/2009 they're worth about $6-7 for the metal they contain. 1965-69 halves are 40% silver and are worth about $2.50 1971 and later halves are copper-nickel and are worth 50 cents
yes and its a ms-69 i believe
It would be worth €0.69 (69 Euro Cents).
There's no way to answer that without knowing which denomination. A '69 nickel is worth a different amount than a '69 half dollar.
I'm not sure what you mean by "one head". ALL Kennedy halves only have one image on the front side. Anyway, if its date is 1964, it's worth about $6 for its metal content. 1965-69 have less silver and are worth about $2.40. 1971-now are made of copper-nickel and are only worth face value.
It means the coin is nearly perfect condition. The rating of MS69 is on a 70 point scale.
1964 proof Kennedy halves are 90% silver, 68, 69, 70 proofs are 40%. The 3-piece Bicentennial silver proof & silver mint sets are 40% and 1992 to date silver sets are 90%.
There has never been a Kennedy dollar. Only half dollars. 1964 - 90% silver, 10% copper 1965-69 - 40% silver, 60% copper 1971 and later, cupronickel.
September 2011 This coin in circulated condition is worth $69 to $360. In uncirculated condition they are worth $500 to $40,200. The values are an average and not exact but the best available at the time of answering. You may get more or less when you sell it.
