yes and its a ms-69 i believe
Blame the Romans - it's a stylistic artifact of Latin.
8-24-11>> The coin is NOT an Liberty silver dollar, it's a PEACE dollar (1921-1935) and all them have TRVST spelled like this. It's just part of the design.
On the front-LIBERTY ,IN GOD WE TRUST On the back-UNITED STATS OF AMERICA,1oz. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR But first year was 1986 not 1985
The 2000 American Silver Dollar features a depiction of the iconic Walking Liberty on the obverse, designed by Adolph A. Weinman, showcasing Liberty striding confidently while holding a branch of laurel and a shield. The reverse side displays an eagle with a shield, representing strength and freedom. The coin is composed of 99.9% silver and has a distinct shiny finish, with a diameter of 38.1 mm. It also includes the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year "2000."
The link below has a picture of a peace dollar.
I have a 1924 silver dollar and, yes, it does have trust spelled with a "v".
If your (walking liberty half dollar) coin is dated 1916 (and some 1917 coins) the mintmark is found underneath "In God we Trust" on the front of the coin. All other years the mintmark is found on the reverse of the coin to the left of the branch that the eagle is sitting on. Keep in mind that if your coin has no mintmark, it was minted in Philadelphia. If you have a silver eagle dollar which also uses the walking liberty design, the mintmark will be on the back under the olive branch that the eagle is holding. Bullion silver eagles do not contain mintmarks and could be minted from a number of different mints depending on the year the coin was issued.
The word trust is not misspelled. The Peace dollar and the standing liberty quarter both use the Latin spelling of trust as TRVST. 1925 is a common date for the peace dollar, and unless in uncirculated condition, it is worth anywhere from $25-35.
That depends on the supposed misspelling. If the U looks like a V, that's actually correct.

If it is dated 1916 or 1917 it would be below "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the observe. If it's dated 1917-1947 it would be to the left of "HALF DOLLAR: on the reverse. Keep in mind that not all walking liberty half-dollars have the D mintmark. If a small "D" is not in the above places it was made at either Philadelphia or San Francisco.
You don't have an official U.S. coin. The Liberty Lobby was an extreme-conservative political group that didn't trust the Federal monetary system and issued its own pieces.
