CASE stands for 'Computer Aided Software Engineering', the idea was to capture requirements formally and have the computer essentially write the code for the system. CASE tools are not as popular as they used to be in the 80s and 90s.

Depends on the business and technology, of course they have to match. But in the information technology case, it IS a certainly for what business doesn't deal with any information ?
