We'd need to know the state - although CDLs are federally regulated, the actual restriction codes do still vary by state.
An "L" restriction is a restriction which prohibits the driver from operating a CMV which is equipped with air brakes. It does not, however, apply to vehicles not requiring a CDL.
K is not an endorsement it is a restriction for intrastate only. That means a CDL with a K restriction is only valid in the issuing state only.
It means your Hazmat Endorsment expires before your CDL does.
It is a CDL restriction in all states and territories of the United States.
In Oklahoma, "A" is not a CDL-specific restriction. An "A" restriction on ANY Oklahoma license means, "Regardless of age, when operating a motorcycle must be in view of a person who is licensed to operate a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle and who is at least 21 years old"
You would have to explain what state your licence is from, and whether or not that's a restriction code. To drive a semi, you would need a Class A CDL (unless it's a registered farm vehicle, exempt from CDL requirements, in which case, your state is free to establish their own licencing requirements). I know in North Carolina, a "No tractor trailer" restriction on a Class A CDL was an "8" restriction. Taking a quick glance, I can see that 57 is a CDL restriction code in Tennessee. If TN is your state, then your answer would be no - 57 is the "except tractor-trailer" restriction code for that state.
That's not one of the universal CDL endorsements, and is a state-specific add-on, or else it's a restriction which is also state specific. Please identify which state you hold a CDL in.
You would have to be more specific about what a Q restriction is. Restriction codes vary by state (here in North Carolina, they are numbered). However, to test for a passenger endorsement, a road test is required as well as a written test, even if you have a CDL already.
Restriction codes vary by state. In states which use the letter codes, "L" is usually the restriction which prohibits the operation of commercial vehicles that are equipped with air brakes.
Have the required medical exam and take the test results to DMV.
Take the written air brakes test, and perform a road test in a combination requiring a Class A CDL which is equipped with air brakes.
Restrictions include: B - corrective lenses required D - Anatomical Donor M- Restricted to Class B and Class C Passenger vehicles (This restriction goes with a P - passenger endorsement on a class A CDL) N- Restricted to class C Passenger vehicles (This restriction goes with a P - passenger endorsement on a class A CDL)
