There are Christians on either side of the fence, pro and contra. As there is no absolute statement on this area in the Bible, it appears that God has left the decision to each person's conscience.
The Roman Catholic Church is against embryo research if it involves the death of the embryo. This is because the embryo is believed to be a potential human being who has a soul and is already known and loved by God. The Catholic Church thinks there is nothing wrong with altering the genetic make up of an embryo if it is going to make it a healthier person free from disease. This is called gene therapy.
Thanks To My Rmps Teacher Dr. Butler For That Note :P
Second Answer from a Protestant Theologian: The scriptures holds the human being as being sacred and not to be killed. Some women have donated their naturally aborted women to science. In this instance this is not considered willfully killing an embryo or fetus. Some scientist do use these donated babies in embryo research instead of murdered embryos and fetuses. The research is appreciated by millions of parents worldwide, even Christian women, when they know the embryos and fetuses were not murdered. Gene therapy and rare diseases research are extremely welcomed by humanity. By the way the person who discovered the "ability to use the babies cord" for science is a Christian woman who came from a Christian university.
Christian Research Institute was created in 1960.
It is wrong because there is no such thing as an "embryo" as science calls it, they are lifes before the Lord.
Cloning is asexual reproduction. There are all kinds of research that can be done on stem cells without creating any actual embryo or causing the gestation of an embryo in order to give birth to a new organism.
This type of research requires that cells are taken from an embryo. Some people are opposed to stem cell research because they think it is unethical.
There is no possessive noun in the phrase "needed Christian for research".A possessive noun is a noun that indicates that something in the sentence belongs to that noun. A possessive noun is formed by adding an apostrophe s ('s) or just an apostrophe (') to the end of the sentence.Examples:a Christian's research (the research of a Christian)the Christians' needs (the needs of the Christians)the research's needs (the needs of the research)researchers' needs (the needs of researchers)Note: The noun Christian is a proper noun. Proper nouns are always capitalized.

At least half of the people who are part of HFEA are not doctors or scientists involved in embryo research or infertility treatment.
A Christian would have no basis to comment on the concept of nirvana other than "That's not how we see things happening."
