What is a Dutch-rudd?

The name Rudd comes from the Norse for Red and is actually pronounced Rookg rather then Rudd. The name Rudd (or Red) in the lineage of "Eric the Red" and Viking Warrior that was famed with discovering Iceland. the name also spread through Europe including Holland.
