The Ford GT is fords top of the line car. IT is fast enough to be compared to Porsche or the Audi R8. The ford Gt isn't meant to be a street car it is meant to race on tracks. The ford GT is a LOT faster than a mustang GT. The ford GT also has a very long background ford has been making it for a long time. Back when Ferrari was just a race car company (all due respect to Ferrari they still make fast cars but I would say they are more luxury now) the ford GT was sometimes called "the Ferrari Slayer". That is a basic overview of the Ford GT but there are some sites that will give a much more in depth explanation.
