The Maynard tape priming system used a roll of paper tape with dots of priming material on the tape. When the weapon was cocked, the strip of paper advanced, and placed a dot of priming material above the nipple. While Maynard primers were soon replaced with percussion caps, the Maynard system is still around today- sort of. They still remain as the roll caps used in cap pistols. The value of your rifle would depend on condition, and would require an appraisal from an appraiser that knows antique firearms.

You don't need one. The darts which are made to use in air rifles are designed to be used in a standard, unmodified, breech loading air rifle. Just be sure the darts you use are the appropriate calibre.
If there are any they usually are on the barrel close to the loading breech or above the trigger.
