It allows you to play games that need precise movements.
Wii MotionPlus was created on 2009-06-25.
Yes. Any Wii MotionPlus should work with any Wii Remote and Wii.
Yes, that's what the port at the bottom of the MotionPlus is for. The nunchuk and MotionPlus are required for a few games in Wii Sports Resort.
A MotionPlus by itself costs $25.
The Wii MotionPlus is an expansion device for the Wii Remote video game controller that allows it to more accurately capture complex motion. According to Nintendo, the sensor in the device supplements theaccelerometer and Sensor Bar capabilities of the Wii Remote to enable actions to be rendered identically on the screen in real time.~From Wiki
The new ones are more sentitive to more movements.
Yes.
That would be called the Wii MotionPlus.
totally Xbox Kinect. If you consider that both the PlayStation Move and Kinect cost over $100 each, they're considered the worst. The Kinect has a slow reaction time and doesn't have any good games. The PlayStation Move is only slightly more precise than Wii MotionPlus, but costs a LOT more. The Wii MotionPlus costs only $20, and it isn't a controller like Move. Also, both Microsoft and Sony screwed up by copying from Nintendo.
None of the games released before WiiMotionplus will work with it. Some new games being developed are compatible with it, and some require it. Nintendo isn't forcing developers to use it though.
No, it can only be used in Wii Sports Resort.
Yes. It does but doesn't make a difference so you should just use the wii remote.
