This may be one of the least popular kinds of white wine, at least out of my own expierience. I'm a bartender and I sell far more chardonney and pinot grigio. Sauvingnon Blanc in usually dry in taste and some what heavy for a whit wine.
A lot of that will depend upon the winery, where the grapes were grown, harvest timing, and processing methods.
