most numerous other dates are rarer. A good Grade is when the ridges of Mayon as well as the toes are discernible on the oberse side and the chest feathers of the eagle on the reverse side. A specimen of this quality can be graded as extra fine and can be had for $50-$75 for 1903 and 1907. up to $100 for other years.
Gen McArthur dumped 7,000,000 silver pesos just outside of Mariveles when he was retreating from the Japanese early in 1942. Stay away from these, most are badly corroded and a lot of metal can be lost by cleaning it. They have little value.
