Nope. Z71 vehicles are generally 4x4, not 2x4. Starting in 2007, GM started offering the Z71 package on 2wd Avalanche trucks. The badging will only say Z71 instead of Z71 4x4

It's right in front of the starter up against the firewall. You have to take the starter off.
