Ingredients1 lb Backfin Crabmeat8 oz Cream Cheese, SoftenedSeason slightly with your choice of the following: salt, cream, onion, sherry, pepper, Tabasco, mustard, Worcestershire. Remove all cartilage from crabmeat. Very gently mix crab with cream cheese, being careful not to break the pieces. Shape into a log, sprinkle with parsley, chill, and serve with crackers.

Ingredients1 lb Maryland backfin crabmeat1 Egg, beaten1/4 Finely chopped greenpepper 1 sl White bread, cubed1 t Worcestershire sauce1 t Prepared mustard1 t Lemon juice1/4 ts Salt1/4 ts Pepperfat or oil for fryingRemove cartilage from crabmeat. In a large bowl, mix well all ingredients except crabmeat and oil, then gently fold in crabmeat. Form into six cakes. Fry in just enough oil to prevent sticking til brown.
