I once saw a twin brother and sister share their B'nai Mitzvah. 2 Torahs were taken out of the ark so they could carry the Torahs on opposite sides of the sanctuary. After that, the extra Torah was put back in the Ark. The twin brother and sister "took turns" reading from the Torah and Haftorah.

benei mitzvot is the closest you can get to a gender neutral plural in Hebrew. It suffers from the same problem that we have in English, that the plural men can mean just men, or men and women. Hebrew, like French and German, is much more strongly gendered than English.
