Jason (Ιάσωνας) follows the greek stereotype of the ''hero''. In his 20s, smart,strong,courageous, kind, of royal llinage but deprived of his right by siblings/father/Gods/fate.
Pelias took the throne from his half-brother Aeson, father of Jason. Jason was raised in secret by the centaur Hiron and one day, on his way to reclaim the throne, he lost a sandal helping an old lady (Hera in desquise) across a river. The prochecy was, that a man with one sandal will overthrow Pelias, so he send him on an impossible quest,''The Quest for the Golden Fleece''.
