Not sure if you're asking about the breed, the Pit Bull, or the name given to the area/space that is made where dogs are fought, a.k.a. "pitted" against each other. Pit Bulls are very lovable, loyal, and friendly, and tend to have dog aggression, however, this can be prevented. Socialize them from an early age, and they will not have it when they grow up. The same is with all animals, they will not chase cats if they are given the chance to meet one as a pup.
