Carbine does not actually refer to the bullet but rather the barrel of the rifle. It is a shortened, lighter barrel, which is easier to carry in adverse conditions (forest, scrub, jungle, etc.).
5.56mm
No. The bullet is 5 thousandths of an inch too wide.
The gas propelling the bullet is tapped, and operates the bolt mechanism.
Depends on the bullet. A few have NO lead. Bullet weights are usually given in GRAINS rather than grams- a 110 grain bullet, like the M1 Carbine, weighs 7.1 grams. Bullet for a .22 short is about 29 grains, for a LARGE rifle, maybe 500 grains.
The M-16 Carbine or M4 use a 5.56x45 Nato round or the civilian version .223 Remington
The M1 Carbin is a semiautomatic carbine that has a magazine. It can hold from 10 to 30 rounds in each magazine. It was built in America and shoots a bullet similar to a pistol bullet, but a bit bigger. The KAR98K was built in Germany, it shoots an 8mm round (similar to a 30-06). It is bolt action and has a far longer range.
um an m4 carbine is a gun last time i checked, and i don't think a gun would be able to shoot a bullet with a paper hammer. so i would say none.
In the case of the 1911A1 pistol, in .45 ACP, firing a standard 230 gr. round nosed bullet, when elevated to 33 degrees, the bullet will travel 2096 ft. Not accurately, but that is it's maximum RANGE. When fired from a carbine or submachinegun, the range may be greater.
ANSWER In the order: the rifled muskets, the miniè bullet, the breech-loading rifle, the repeating carbine and rifle.
Depends on which carbine. No one carbine, no one answer.
An M1 Carbine was a rifle invented in 1942. It shoots a 30 carbine bullet, which is longer than a pistol bullet but shorter than a rifle bullet. It is semiautomatic, which mans you can just keep shooting it without reloading or cocking the gun. The outsid is wood and the inside is metal. It was reloaded by putting a clip of bullts in the bottom of the gun which made the clip stick out. The clips used were 10, 15 and 30 round clips. It was mass produced from 1942 to 1945 and was used by the army through the Vietnam war, which ended in 1975. It is quite small compared to other guns.
All weapons will show a preference for one or two brands/bullet weights. The only way to know is to shoot as many different brands and bullet weights as possible. When you find one it likes, buy a pallet of it.
