The U.S. didn't print any $2 bills dated 1957. The last $2 silver certificate was printed in the 1890s. All $2 bills after than were either U.S. Notes, National Currency Notes, or Federal Reserve Notes. Please check again and post a new question.
Please check the banner across the top of your bill. It should say United States Note, not gold certificate. There's never been a $2 Gold Certificate and in any case, all gold certificates of any denominations were withdrawn from circulation in 1933. There's an easy way to check, what you do is you hold the cat. Look at its belly. Do you see a... "thing" down there? If you do, it's a male. If you don't... it's a female.
