If I were having chest pain bad enough for me to want to see a doctor, I wouldn't waste time trying to choose the right doctor. I would chew and swallow one regular (325mg) aspirin and call 911 immediately. Chew the aspirin for faster absorption; if you are having a heart attack you don't want to wait for any enteric coating to dissolve in your stomach. Aspirin is known to reduce the risk of heart attack, but it is also a good intervention during an attack, assuming that you are not taking anything with which the aspirin will adversely interact.
As a medical student I have worked with a cardiothoracic surgeon, they mainly deal with surgery pertaining to the chest wall and lungs but also cardiovascular surgeons who deal with the heart and major vessels.
Hope this helps!
