We view money as a gift from God. When we receive a paycheck, God has given the first 10% of anything we receive .........because you have to have money to make money....think about that! Ex: You couldn't open a pet store unless you had money to buy pets to start off with! God sort of "lends" us this 10% and we repay him that by tithing, which is putting 10% of every paycheck in the offering plate. As far as jobs or money goes period.....yes they are both nice but NEVER above God because when He sounds the Trumpet to take us home......He doesn't care what kind of suit you wore to the job you had that didn't matter to make the money that you can't bring with you. We are ALL equal in His eyes!! Glory be to Him!!

In general terms, a Christian view of culture is a view that the customs, beliefs, and ethical 'dos and don'ts) of a society should be thoroughly informed by Christian Faith. In this view, what is believed, said, and done among members of the society in question is (or, ought to be) guided by a Christian perspective on what is appropriate and true for human life on earth.
