∙ 8y agoDiamonds are graded based on the 4 C’s, which are cut, carat, clarity and color. Clarity measures how clean a diamond is from inclusions. The grading for clarity ranges from FL – flawless, IF – internally flawless, VVS1’2 – very very slightly included, VS1’2 – very slightly included and SI1, SI2 – slightly included. I1 clarity inclusions are even more obvious and clearly seen than SI2 clarity inclusions. Most I1, I2 and I3 inclusions are visible to the naked eye.
