For stitching clothing, the best stitching is a straight stitch on a sewing machine (2.5 or 3.0 length). If you're sewing by hand, a straight stitch at a very short length may work, depending on how thick or sturdy the fabric is.
A ruler has markings, a straight edge does not. In "straight edge and compass" constructions, you are not allowed to mark the straight edge. Things that are impossible using only a straight edge and compass are possible if markings are allowed (for example, it's possible to trisect an angle using a marked straight edge).
Called a straight edge
yes because dogs colourings go lighter through age. If they are straight black they can get some brown markings at 8 weeks of age.

Satin stitch is regular embroidery, not cross stitch. It is basically straight stitches alongside each other across the shape to fill in.
A straight angle has 180 degrees. It is an angle that has sides in opposite directions from its vertex. A straight angle will look like a straight line.
High quality bedding sets should have straight and even stitching and strong seams as well as quality materials such as the fabric and inks used in printing.

Undo the large silver wheel on the upper front of the machine. The fashion disc locates on to a small pin with the pattern ( on the disc ) visible. Replace silver wheel - set width of zig-zag, and stitch length, and sew. If the stitching pattern created by the fashion disc is asymmetrical, fitting the disc upside ( pattern hidden ) reverses the stitching. 20+ fashion discs were made by Singer ! A DISC MUST BE ON THE MACHINE AT ALL TIMES, FOR STRAIGHT STITCHING
